This compact disc takes the listener on a journey to the heart of Turkish folk music, ith such instruments as the deblek (single-headed goblet drum), the davul (large double-headed cylindrical drum), the zurna (folk oboe), the ud (Arab lute), the kanun (plucked box zither) and the violin.
